In the 5th minute, Larry Henson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vern Shipman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, FC Boge's goal looked a bit too open when Weston Potter came free, but Vern Shipman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Weston Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Southaven AFC's Louis Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Rodriquez in the 13th minute of play. If Geraldo Rodriquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Avery Worley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vern Shipman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Weston Potter's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Southaven AFC's zone, Geraldo Rodriquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Young came out of the goal and Geraldo Rodriquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Weston Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vern Shipman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weston Potter, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Weston Potter came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Southaven AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weston Potter couldn't finish the play. If Larry Henson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Fugate in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Southaven AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Freddy Coppack hit a great ball. After 82nd play minutes Geraldo Rodriquez shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Louis Young and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 85th minute Geraldo Rodriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Young saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Southaven AFC's Louis Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Landrum in the 87th minute of play. Freddy Coppack's late challenge caught a FC Boge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Coppack helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Southaven AFC got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Coppack. In the 90th match minute, Southaven AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byron McRae to maneuver through the defense. Weston Potter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vern Shipman having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Boge's Vern Shipman got control of the ball when Larry Henson tried to sneak it across the goal line.
