When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Sol Bowman put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Devin Landers. Sol Bowman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Devin Landers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Daren Woodard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Devin Landers. The goal made the score 2-0. Devin Landers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daren Woodard's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Mahopac AFC's Devin Landers got control of the ball when Sol Bowman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The wind increased when Sol Bowman made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sol Bowman in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Devin Landers saved Mahopac AFC from getting behind. In the 55th minute Sol Bowman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devin Landers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Terrence Cortes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Kansas City got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Christopher. Ian Keys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandy Dubose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Devin Landers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sol Bowman in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Kansas City booed when Mahopac AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Anthony didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kansas City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
