Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1615, VIP seats: 130) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Asher Harrell made the kick off which started today's match. Moses Gray charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moses Gray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Queen Creek FC got a freekick which was hit by Moses Gray. Ian Borden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sung Richmond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Davila having to interfere. Renato Patten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asher Harrell in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Craig North cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Renato Patten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo Velasquez during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Queen Creek FC! The goalkeeper, Benny Davila, was totally fooled by Libera FC's Ian Borden, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 22 minutes into the game, Queen Creek FC's Jess Canales nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renato Patten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Queen Creek FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Moses Gray hit a great ball. Ian Borden's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Benny Davila skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Renato Patten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jess Canales in the 31st minute of the match. Craig North recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tad Dorsey charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tad Dorsey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Craig North managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queen Creek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Craig North was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Patten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Queen Creek FC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Borden to strike the kick off in the second half. Benny Davila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Borden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sung Richmond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ian Borden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benny Davila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sung Richmond went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute Sung Richmond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Davila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Libera FC booed when Queen Creek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asher Harrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Borden in the 72nd minute of play forced Queen Creek FC's goalkeeper Benny Davila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Craig North could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Renato Patten made a huge save. Renato Patten came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Queen Creek FC's Craig North. But to his dismay, Craig North quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Queen Creek FC's Benny Davila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Borden in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Libera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Putnam to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Craig North got free with Renato Patten in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd match minute, Libera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Blackburn to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Craig North notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Libera FC's Renato Patten. Renato Patten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Queen Creek FC's Craig North got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
