Rory Copeland scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Greg Potter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, DeReliNquO AMoR 1990's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Copeland came free, but Greg Potter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradly Wyatt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Greg Potter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mike Crews hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to DeReliNquO AMoR 1990 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rudolph Arrington hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Darius Dow got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 42 minutes into the match, Seymour FC's Rory Copeland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Greg Potter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilbert Mayer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greg Potter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rory Copeland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, DeReliNquO AMoR 1990 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levi Staples to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes Rory Copeland rounded DeReliNquO AMoR 1990's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Greg Potter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory Copeland, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Seymour FC's Terence Burton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Mejia in the 67th minute of play. Bradly Wyatt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Greg Potter made a huge save. Rory Copeland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Greg Potter having to make a save. If Bradly Wyatt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gilbert Mayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
