An unexpectedly hard shot by Asher Harrell in the 3rd minute of play forced Mahopac AFC's goalkeeper Devin Landers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Craig North fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devin Landers having to interfere. Craig North struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Devin Landers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queen Creek FC. After a rather tough play, Mahopac AFC's Virgilio Dobson got a free kick in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mahopac AFC's zone, Craig North stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Devin Landers came out of the goal and Craig North tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Devin Landers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Craig North, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandy Dubose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandy Dubose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jess Canales's late challenge caught a Mahopac AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jess Canales helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mahopac AFC booed when Queen Creek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jess Canales didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moses Gray during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Queen Creek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moses Gray to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Mahopac AFC's Duncan Raines shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benny Davila came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mahopac AFC reached it. Craig North received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Devin Landers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Queen Creek FC booed when Mahopac AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Dobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Craig North might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Devin Landers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Craig North ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Craig North notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mahopac AFC's Devin Landers. Devin Landers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pablo Velasquez charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Velasquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Queen Creek FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Velasquez. A hard shot by Duncan Raines from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Benny Davila's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandy Dubose to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Craig North could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Devin Landers however easily saved by the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Craig North notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mahopac AFC's Devin Landers. Devin Landers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Asher Harrell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Devin Landers. That made the score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. The supporters of Queen Creek FC booed when Mahopac AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandy Dubose didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Craig North got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Craig North came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Queen Creek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Craig North couldn't finish the play. Queen Creek FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
