The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dennis Tompkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Daniel in the 17th minute of the match. Dennis Tompkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lloyd Daniel in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Animosity FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Andy Harding hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Lloyd Daniel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Tompkins was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Mark Eason struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Miles McLain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Animosity FC. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lloyd Daniel made the kick off in the second half. Animosity FC's Dennis Tompkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lloyd Daniel in the 55th minute of play. If Dana Vogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miles McLain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dana Vogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Dana Vogel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miles McLain came out and tried to block the shot, but Dana Vogel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Eason got free with Miles McLain in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lloyd Daniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Nelson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Tompkins. Animosity FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Nelson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dennis Tompkins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lloyd Daniel went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 82 minutes, Lloyd Daniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DEMİREL SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lloyd Daniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DEMİREL SK's Miles McLain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save DEMİREL SK from getting a goal against them. Miles McLain was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Santo Calhoun. DEMİREL SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
