Stefan Chappelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Duncan in the 14th minute of the match. Stefan Chappelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Higgins, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ramon Aldrich came out and tried to block the shot, but Monty Pace slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Higgins in the 38th minute of play forced Glenside AFC's goalkeeper Stefan Chappelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Wyckoff's Milton Higgins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefan Chappelle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donny Vela in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Chappelle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the game, Art Abraham recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramon Aldrich. Art Abraham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Trenton Shepard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Chappelle having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Monty Pace to make the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Milton Higgins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glenside AFC's Stefan Chappelle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Wyckoff's Gilberto Knutson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gilberto Knutson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wyckoff protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gilberto Knutson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wyckoff! 68 minutes into the game, Glenside AFC's Monty Pace nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Aldrich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Sonny Townsend kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Sonny Townsend mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glenside AFC and the Wyckoff players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Glenside AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Townsend to maneuver through the defense. Trenton Shepard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Stefan Chappelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Glenside AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Townsend. When the referee blew the final whistle, Glenside AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Wyckoff having more of the ball for most of the match.
