Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Merrill Fuentes started the match with the kick off. Alec Pruitt struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Zachery Chan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Whiskey. Merrill Fuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Alec Pruitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alec Pruitt struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Zachery Chan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Whiskey. 14 minutes into the match, Pine Island AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alec Pruitt came free, but Zachery Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merrill Fuentes in the 15th minute of play forced Pine Island AFC's goalkeeper Zachery Chan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pine Island AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sterling Gunn hit a great ball. Merrill Fuentes struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Zachery Chan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Whiskey. Zachery Chan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asher Russell went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Benjamin Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Donaldson having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Alec Pruitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachery Chan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 0-3 became the score in the 32nd minute when Merrill Fuentes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Whiskey's goalkeeper Hugo Donaldson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Alec Pruitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachery Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Merrill Fuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Whiskey's supporters rose to their feet, but Merrill Fuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachery Chan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sterling Gunn was the one to do the kick off. Pine Island AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Asher Russell scored to the left of an out of position Zachery Chan, making the score, 0-4. In the 57th minute, Sterling Gunn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pine Island AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Alec Pruitt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zachery Chan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zachery Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merrill Fuentes in the 68th minute of play. Pine Island AFC's Zachery Chan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Pine Island AFC from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Pine Island AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Fuentes came free, but Zachery Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Merrill Fuentes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zachery Chan. Merrill Fuentes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The supporters of Pine Island AFC booed when Team Whiskey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pine Island AFC's zone, Merrill Fuentes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachery Chan came out of the goal and Merrill Fuentes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Team Whiskey eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
