Spectators: 7669 (Terracing: 5752, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Sterling Womack started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Mark Eason left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Animosity FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Argentine FC's zone, Dana Vogel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chase Rios came out of the goal and Dana Vogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Sterling Womack made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Tompkins. Animosity FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Dana Vogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dana Vogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chase Rios having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murray Hoffman in the 32nd minute of play forced Animosity FC's goalkeeper Dennis Tompkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Animosity FC's Dana Vogel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chase Rios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Animosity FC's goalkeeper Dennis Tompkins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dana Vogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Chase Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Argentine FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dana Vogel was the one to do the kick off. Animosity FC's Dennis Tompkins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Animosity FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Animosity FC's Andy Harding got a free kick in the 54th minute. Dana Vogel struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Chase Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Animosity FC. 67 minutes into the match, Murray Hoffman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Tompkins. Animosity FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murray Hoffman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Andy Harding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Murray Hoffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sterling Womack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Tompkins having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Sterling Womack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Murray Hoffman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Tompkins. Animosity FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murray Hoffman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Murray Hoffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Murray Hoffman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 90 minutes into the game, Rodrick Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Animosity FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentine FC the free kick. A collision led to Animosity FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rodrick Arias hit a great ball. Animosity FC's Dennis Tompkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sterling Womack in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Murray Hoffman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentine FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murray Hoffman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Argentine FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
