The tension between the Rancho Cordova FC and the Sound Beach players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rancho Cordova FC were furious when Rolland Arnold was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 78 minutes into the game, one of Rancho Cordova FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sound Beach a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Louie Wolf, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rancho Cordova FC's Silas Bush. 3-4. If Johnnie Lynch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Randell Coats charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randell Coats the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rancho Cordova FC booed when Sound Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randell Coats didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Russ Engel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rancho Cordova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Russ Engel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnnie Lynch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dirk Rich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Russ Engel's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Kristopher Christopher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98thth minute of the game Kristopher Christopher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rancho Cordova FC's Silas Bush was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Nicky Ryder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rancho Cordova FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
