Russ Engel charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Russ Engel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Russ Engel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Reynaldo Field shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Bush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Garrett Bowers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Roberto Seymour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Larson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 32 played minutes Reynaldo Field rounded Rancho Cordova FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Johnnie Lynch took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Oscar Larson to make any attempt to save it. Silas Bush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garrett Bowers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.C. Gamblers's Garrett Bowers got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rancho Cordova FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
