Gregorio Tomlinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute of the match Jose Castaneda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Dubois skillfully saved the ball. Landon Doyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Dubois having to interfere. Jayhawk AFC's Elias Dubois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Jayhawk AFC from getting a goal against them. Springfield FC's Ari Holden got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wallace Park took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Huffman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jayhawk AFC's Elias Dubois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ari Holden in the 35th minute of play. Ari Holden received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elias Dubois came out and tried to block the shot, but Ari Holden slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. In the 41st match minute, Jayhawk AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Tomlinson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Springfield FC booed when Jayhawk AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Armenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Landon Doyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Landon Doyle got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ari Holden to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play Jayhawk AFC's Lawrence Barron was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Jayhawk AFC's Lawrence Barron got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ari Holden in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Dubois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Son Hyatt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Ari Holden elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Gregorio Tomlinson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wallace Park was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Springfield FC booed when Jayhawk AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abe McClellan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Jayhawk AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Holden came free, but Elias Dubois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abe McClellan during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute of the match Jose Castaneda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Dubois showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ari Holden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Elias Dubois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jayhawk AFC's Gregorio Tomlinson got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Springfield FC's Landon Doyle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Dubois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abe McClellan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Ari Holden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Dubois was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
