Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Springfield FC's Ari Holden started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Emerson Hinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Troy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Springfield FC the free kick. Landon Doyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne Baker having to interfere. Wayne Baker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Holden, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Wayne Baker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Holden in the 10th minute of the match. Springfield FC's Wallace Park proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Springfield FC from getting a goal against them. Wes Quintero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berry Helton kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When East Troy's Wes Quintero in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Springfield FC's goalie prevented a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Springfield FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, East Troy's Derrick Hunt got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wallace Park. 29 minutes into the match, Springfield FC's goalkeeper Wallace Park had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glen Albrecht. Wes Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Wallace Park tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glen Albrecht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wes Quintero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wallace Park having to interfere. In the 40th minute, one of Springfield FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Springfield FC. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for East Troy. Derrick Hunt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wallace Park. 3-0. Wallace Park showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glen Albrecht in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wallace Park prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glen Albrecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wallace Park having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ned Lemons during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Springfield FC! The referee gave East Troy a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Derrick Hunt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Springfield FC's Wallace Park. 4-0. A collision led to Springfield FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kasey Wade hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, East Troy's Derrick Hunt tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Quintero in the 83rd minute of play forced Springfield FC's goalkeeper Wallace Park to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ari Holden struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Wayne Baker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Springfield FC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. East Troy had played much better football throughout.
