Paul Drummond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Holden in the 35th minute of the match. Springfield FC's Wallace Park played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wendell Medina in the 37th minute of play. Ralph Kramer might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wallace Park. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralph Kramer ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ari Holden made a kick off. Wallace Park made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wendell Medina in the 52nd minute of play. Ralph Kramer took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wallace Park. Wallace Park dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 58 minutes into the game, Darell Joseph was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Horde FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Springfield FC the free kick. After 58 played minutes The Horde FC got a freekick which was hit by Darell Joseph. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Landon Doyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Springfield FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Landon Doyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Ari Holden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Landon Doyle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Springfield FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Landon Doyle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Landon Doyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Drummond. The Horde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Landon Doyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 90th minute, Landon Doyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wendell Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tracy Ibarra kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
