Paul Drummond was left in no man's land by his defense there! The East Troy fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when East Troy's Glen Albrecht looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute Glen Albrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Drummond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Vincenzo Case hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wes Quintero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Drummond having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Berry Helton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Paul Drummond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Wes Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Quintero in the 32nd minute of play forced The Horde FC's goalkeeper Paul Drummond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, East Troy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry Helton to maneuver through the defense. Berry Helton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Drummond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Quintero in the 39th minute of play. Wes Quintero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Drummond having to interfere. Jerrod Childers's late challenge caught a East Troy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerrod Childers helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, one of The Horde FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Horde FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wendell Medina to make the kick off. Glen Albrecht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Paul Drummond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, The Horde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Travis Bassett to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Todd Purcell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. East Troy's Glen Albrecht got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Travis Bassett charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Travis Bassett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Travis Bassett kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Wendell Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne Baker having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Ralph Kramer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wayne Baker. East Troy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralph Kramer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Ralph Kramer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wendell Medina in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wayne Baker saved East Troy from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, The Horde FC's goalkeeper Paul Drummond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glen Albrecht. After 86 played minutes East Troy got a freekick which was hit by Wes Quintero. Paul Drummond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Glen Albrecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Drummond having to interfere. East Troy played a much better game than The Horde FC and deserved their victory. The The Horde FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
