Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Atlanta FC's Parker Coles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Parker Coles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tomas Jacobs came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Atlanta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Jacobs couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Ken Hartman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto Taylor scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malcolm Mack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malcolm Mack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Len Hammer in the 24th minute of play. Malcolm Mack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wyatt Holman in the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Thongnam LP's Thanh Sutherland got a free kick in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Thongnam LP's goalkeeper Theodore Ziegler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Parker Coles. Theodore Ziegler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Parker Coles in the 37th minute of the match. Tomas Jacobs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Theodore Ziegler made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Len Hammer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyrone Yeats took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Theodore Ziegler. Thongnam LP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Theodore Ziegler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parker Coles, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Parker Coles struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Theodore Ziegler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlanta FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wyatt Holman to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Atlanta FC's Murray Gordon got a free kick in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Thongnam LP getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Calvin Dobson hit a great ball. Theodore Ziegler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Jacobs in the 57th minute of the match. A hard shot 58 in the game by Adalberto Taylor from a close distance when the talented Malcolm Mack managed to make a qualified save. Atlanta FC's players were relieved. Theodore Ziegler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Parker Coles in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlanta FC's Tyrone Yeats got a free kick in the 61st minute. Parker Coles's late challenge caught a Thongnam LP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Parker Coles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Thongnam LP booed when Atlanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Parker Coles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Atlanta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Len Hammer came free, but Malcolm Mack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Len Hammer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Mack having to interfere. When Eric Tripp fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlanta FC's protests and gave Eric Tripp a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Thongnam LP booed when Atlanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Tripp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Thongnam LP's Wyatt Holman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Malcolm Mack was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, Parker Coles notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Thongnam LP's Theodore Ziegler. Theodore Ziegler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Malcolm Mack made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adalberto Taylor in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes Atlanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Murray Gordon. Atlanta FC's Malcolm Mack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Atlanta FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Robles in the 94th minute of play forced Thongnam LP's goalkeeper Theodore Ziegler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theodore Ziegler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Parker Coles in the 95th minute of play. Tomas Jacobs struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Theodore Ziegler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlanta FC. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
