Spectators: 7723 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Casper Allison kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Palo Alto got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Guillory. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Theilacker in the 5th minute of play forced Palo Alto's goalkeeper Sergio Orr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, North Wilkesboro FC's Ollie Durham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Orr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Aidan Woodson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Casper Allison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo McKinney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lance Dent kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Casper Allison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palo Alto's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Allison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo McKinney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Alvin Theilacker put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sergio Orr. After some careless play in the Palo Alto defense, Lance Dent kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Orr. The Palo Alto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Orr should have stopped the shot. North Wilkesboro FC's Ollie Durham got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvin Theilacker to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Aidan Woodson made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo McKinney. North Wilkesboro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Ollie Durham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aidan Woodson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Alexis Fairchild kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Sergio Orr acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oscar Contreras. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aidan Woodson in the 87th minute of play forced North Wilkesboro FC's goalkeeper Eduardo McKinney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Palo Alto's goalkeeper Sergio Orr had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ollie Durham. Felipe Guillory kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Palo Alto's Casper Allison got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lance Dent charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lance Dent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute of the match Palo Alto got a corner. North Wilkesboro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dominic Shipp ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Palo Alto's Dominic Shipp to fire away a dangerous shot which Eduardo McKinney despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 98th minute Aidan Woodson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo McKinney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Palo Alto supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching North Wilkesboro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for North Wilkesboro FC.
