The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarvis Ratliff got free with Sandy Chavez in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jasper Nelson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandy Chavez having to interfere. With a little luck, Three Rivers's Sandy Chavez got control of the ball when Neil Hardy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes, Three Rivers's Logan Cegielski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zachariah Garrett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Three Rivers reached it. When FC Dallas's Jasper Nelson in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Three Rivers's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymond Grayson made a kick off. After 57 minutes of play, FC Dallas's Jarvis Ratliff made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandy Chavez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarvis Ratliff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sandy Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandy Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarvis Ratliff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Jasper Nelson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandy Chavez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandy Chavez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Nelson in the 69th minute of play. Jasper Nelson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandy Chavez having to interfere. In the 85th minute Jasper Nelson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandy Chavez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandy Chavez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jasper Nelson's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Raymond Grayson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Sandy Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Nelson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarvis Ratliff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandy Chavez having to make a save. FC Dallas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
