FC Midway's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Jasper Nelson came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the FC Dallas fans jumped to their feet. Jermaine Ludwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Nelson in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, FC Dallas's goal looked a bit too open when Tommie Dillard came free, but Zachariah Garrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elliott Donovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Midway booed when FC Dallas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Brunson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jermaine Ludwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Nelson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Hank Swain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jermaine Ludwig made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jarvis Ratliff sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Jarvis Ratliff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jermaine Ludwig. The goal made the score 0-5. FC Dallas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
