The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TEXASFC booed when Malulo LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Krueger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Jeff Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachariah McClain was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half TEXASFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Young Rosales to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ricky Epps managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malulo LC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricky Epps was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic Barber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ethan Person received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dominic Barber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
