Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 0) FC Dallas's Jasper Nelson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bo Gallagher came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dallas's Jarvis Ratliff. But to his dismay, Jarvis Ratliff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jerold Jarvis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Zachariah Garrett made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Valparaiso C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Nelson came free, but Bo Gallagher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luther Wolfe in the 15th minute of play forced FC Dallas's goalkeeper Zachariah Garrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Jarvis Ratliff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Valparaiso C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Nelson came free, but Bo Gallagher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Jarvis Ratliff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bo Gallagher was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Bo Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Nelson in the 30th minute of the match. If Jasper Nelson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Jarvis Ratliff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, FC Dallas's Jasper Nelson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bo Gallagher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jarvis Ratliff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Gallagher having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luther Wolfe was the one to do the kick off. Bo Gallagher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Nelson in the 54th minute of play. Jasper Nelson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 59 in the game by Jasper Nelson from a close distance when the talented Bo Gallagher managed to make a qualified save. Valparaiso C.F.'s players were relieved. FC Dallas's Jarvis Ratliff got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Dallas booed when Valparaiso C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Mattson didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Dallas's Zachariah Garrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luther Wolfe in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Jasper Nelson lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Bo Gallagher. If Jasper Nelson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hunter Ricks hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jasper Nelson struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Bo Gallagher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dallas. The supporters of FC Dallas booed when Valparaiso C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Mattson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored FC Dallas's protests and gave Andreas Brunson a yellow card for diving instead. Zachariah Garrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luther Wolfe in the 85th minute of play. Hunter Ricks hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Valparaiso C.F.'s Bo Gallagher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Nelson in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jasper Nelson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dallas's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Nelson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Gallagher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Jarvis Ratliff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bo Gallagher. Valparaiso C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarvis Ratliff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
