Spectators: 6789 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daren Walls got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Tommie Dillard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hank Swain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Chang having to interfere. Daren Walls sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Elliott Donovan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Midway's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Okolona the free kick. In the 11th minute, Elliott Donovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Hank Swain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Ryan Dickens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sammy Chang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Dillard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sammy Chang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hank Swain's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Zachariah Kaufman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jermaine Ludwig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Tommie Dillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hank Swain came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Midway fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hank Swain couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommie Dillard was the one to do the kick off. When Jess McDonough fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Midway's protests and gave Jess McDonough a yellow card for diving instead. Daren Walls recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Hank Swain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Midway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hank Swain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommie Dillard struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sammy Chang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Midway. 65 minutes into the game, Okolona's Zachariah Kaufman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jermaine Ludwig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jermaine Ludwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariah Kaufman in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Ryan Dickens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Ludwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Daren Walls managed to get in a good position for a shot. Okolona's supporters rose to their feet, but Daren Walls was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jermaine Ludwig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daren Walls received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jermaine Ludwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Midway's Del Medina got a free kick in the 83rd minute. FC Midway's Jermaine Ludwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daren Walls in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Tommie Dillard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hank Swain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Sammy Chang made a huge save. In the 97th minute, Zachariah Kaufman made a precise shot to the right of Jermaine Ludwig. FC Midway's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
