Hank Swain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Dominic Barber made a huge save. If Tommie Dillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jermaine Ludwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Young Rosales, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Young Rosales in the 45th minute of play forced FC Midway's goalkeeper Jermaine Ludwig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Young Rosales to make the kick off. FC Midway's Jermaine Ludwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Young Rosales in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chase Landis during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Young Rosales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommie Dillard in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominic Barber saved TEXASFC from getting behind. Dominic Barber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hank Swain in the 81st minute of play. Jeff Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elliott Donovan's late challenge caught a TEXASFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliott Donovan helped the player get up and apologised. Tommie Dillard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominic Barber having to make a save.
