Okolona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachariah Kaufman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Alpine's Monroe Cash got a free kick in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jim Lofton was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 60 played minutes Okolona got a freekick which was hit by Jim Lofton. After a rather tough play, Alpine's Monroe Cash got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Okolona's Ward Aranda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zachariah Kaufman took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised King Ray. King Ray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. King Ray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariah Kaufman, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Sammy Chang made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Sol Newman sent off a good shot on target. If Woody Holley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Okolona's Zachariah Kaufman made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. King Ray was left in no man's land by his defense there! Okolona's Zachariah Kaufman got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fletcher Muniz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. King Ray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Okolona. Okolona's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
