Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) FC Midway's Tommie Dillard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tamarac FC's Ted Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommie Dillard in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tamarac FC's zone, Tommie Dillard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ted Galindo came out of the goal and Tommie Dillard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommie Dillard in the 8th minute of play forced Tamarac FC's goalkeeper Ted Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zane Lovett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jermaine Ludwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommie Dillard in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ted Galindo saved Tamarac FC from getting behind. If Hank Swain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Galindo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Hank Swain sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tamarac FC's goalkeeper Ted Galindo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ted Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommie Dillard in the 23rd minute of the match. Hank Swain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ted Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hank Swain struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ted Galindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Midway. Ted Galindo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Midway's Del Medina. But to his dismay, Del Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Tommie Dillard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Galindo was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Tommie Dillard came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Midway fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommie Dillard couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Tamarac FC's goalkeeper Ted Galindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hank Swain. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Donovan in the 48th minute of play forced Tamarac FC's goalkeeper Ted Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Giuseppe Parsons made the kick off in the second half. Tommie Dillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denver Loomis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denver Loomis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Galindo having to interfere. Denver Loomis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Galindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Tamarac FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denver Loomis came free, but Ted Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zane Lovett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 2-0 became the score in the 63rd minute when Tommie Dillard elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Tommie Dillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, Tamarac FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zane Lovett to maneuver through the defense. Ted Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hank Swain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giuseppe Parsons charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giuseppe Parsons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommie Dillard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Eric Gallagher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamarac FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Gallagher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jermaine Ludwig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes of play, Tamarac FC's Giuseppe Parsons made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jermaine Ludwig was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Midway had won after a very even match.
