FC Midway's players were relieved. In the 31st minute, Tyrone Zapata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Summerset Aisle's Jermaine Ludwig threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Trent Harding, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute Trent Harding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Ludwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Del Medina's late challenge caught a Summerset Aisle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Del Medina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Del Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyrone Zapata scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jermaine Ludwig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jermaine Ludwig made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Tyrone Zapata sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommie Dillard to strike the kick off in the second half. Hank Swain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Villalobos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tyrone Zapata in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jermaine Ludwig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tyrone Zapata's late challenge caught a FC Midway's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyrone Zapata helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Summerset Aisle's Tyrone Zapata got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Zapata in the 64th minute of play forced FC Midway's goalkeeper Jermaine Ludwig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Trent Harding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Ludwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Trent Harding's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jermaine Ludwig was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After 74 minutes of play, Summerset Aisle's Chance Anderson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jermaine Ludwig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jermaine Ludwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Zapata in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Tyrone Zapata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Ludwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hank Swain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Raul Villalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tyrone Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tommie Dillard fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Midway's protests and gave Tommie Dillard a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Summerset Aisle booed when FC Midway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Dillard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Trent Harding who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Midway's Jermaine Ludwig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Clinton McNeal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jermaine Ludwig skillfully saved the ball. Raul Villalobos made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Hank Swain sent off a good shot on target.
