Bart Elder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ted Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darryl Delaney tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ted Galindo. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josef Maher made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Bart Elder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ted Galindo. That made the score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. Bart Elder in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ted Galindo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ted Galindo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bart Elder sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Zane Lovett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tamarac FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zane Lovett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yong Coffman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bart Elder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Galindo having to interfere. If Giuseppe Parsons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tamarac FC booed when Cornville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeMarcus Whitfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zane Lovett couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Giuseppe Parsons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Cornville were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Tamarac FC side.
