Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Mark Sharpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brett Lyon. With a little luck, C.A. Buenos Aires's Mark Sharpe got control of the ball when Brett Lyon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brett Lyon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Sharpe having to make a save. In the 13th minute, Madera Acres FC's Jerrod McFadden dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mark Sharpe made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Brett Lyon sent off a good shot on target. Gregory Mosley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Art Henson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Madera Acres FC's Jerrod McFadden ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mark Sharpe. Mark Sharpe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Brett Lyon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mark Sharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jonathon Field fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Buenos Aires's protests and gave Jonathon Field a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes C.A. Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Jonathon Field. Santo Gray took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milan Aguilera. Milan Aguilera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Gregory Mosley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Art Henson made the kick off in the second half. Ulysses Staley hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Milan Aguilera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathon Field went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Gregory Mosley took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milan Aguilera. Milan Aguilera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. If Santo Gray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milan Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Mosley, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Art Henson charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Art Henson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Art Henson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Madera Acres FC's Milan Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Gray in the 77th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Flanagan during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute, one of Madera Acres FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Madera Acres FC. After having played for 83 minutes, Santo Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Buenos Aires's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Gray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Santo Gray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Madera Acres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerrod McFadden to maneuver through the defense. Gregory Mosley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Milan Aguilera made a huge save.
