Rene Denson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Star FC's Dillon Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tad Kelly in the 4th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Star FC got a freekick which was hit by Dudley Summers. Tad Kelly took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dillon Esquivel. Star FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bennett Ledford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulysses Staley kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Milan Aguilera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charlton Maynard went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gerardo Craig's late challenge caught a Star FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Craig helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Madera Acres FC's Gerardo Craig got a free kick in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Vance Woodall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Star FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madera Acres FC the free kick. Madera Acres FC's Milan Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlton Maynard in the 32nd minute of play. Dillon Esquivel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerrod McFadden in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bennett Ledford got free with Milan Aguilera in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milan Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlton Maynard in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Charlton Maynard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Charlton Maynard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Art Henson to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Madera Acres FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ulysses Staley hit a great ball. Charlton Maynard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Aguilera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Art Henson in the 59th minute of play forced Star FC's goalkeeper Dillon Esquivel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dillon Esquivel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrod McFadden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Star FC's Dillon Esquivel got control of the ball when Ulysses Staley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulysses Staley charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysses Staley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulysses Staley hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Art Henson in the 69th minute of play forced Star FC's goalkeeper Dillon Esquivel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bennett Ledford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Art Henson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dillon Esquivel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milan Aguilera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charlton Maynard went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Madera Acres FC booed when Star FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cary Good didn't get a good kick on the ball. Art Henson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dillon Esquivel made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Brett Lyon sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlton Maynard in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milan Aguilera saved Madera Acres FC from getting behind. Charlton Maynard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Milan Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charlton Maynard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Star FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
