The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Jose Hopper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wes Boyles. Borussia Dortmund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Hopper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jose Hopper hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Cristobal Ivy got a free kick in the 6th minute. Denis Sylvester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wes Boyles having to interfere. Denis Sylvester's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wes Boyles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Antonio Root could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Erwin made a huge save. Wes Boyles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerrod Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Hopper came free, but Wes Boyles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Edward Connors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Sylvester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wes Boyles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Hopper's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Hopper in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wes Boyles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vampiric fc's Nicholas Fitzgerald got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Hopper struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Wes Boyles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vampiric fc. After 43 minutes of play, Vampiric fc's Jose Hopper made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wes Boyles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Ivy was the one to do the kick off. Borussia Dortmund's Wes Boyles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Dortmund from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 54 in the game by Denis Sylvester from a close distance when the talented Wes Boyles managed to make a qualified save. Borussia Dortmund's players were relieved. Denis Sylvester struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Wes Boyles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vampiric fc. Wes Boyles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Sylvester in the 62nd minute of the match. Denis Sylvester blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wes Boyles having to make a save. The supporters of Vampiric fc booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Bender didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Denis Sylvester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vampiric fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Sylvester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wes Boyles was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Jerrod Nicholas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerrod Nicholas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Hopper got free with Wes Boyles in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wes Boyles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Hopper in the 80th minute. Edward Connors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With 85 minutes on the clock, Werner Rodriquez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vampiric fc! Reynaldo Erwin went to the wrong direction when Woodrow Cardona was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Edward Connors might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wes Boyles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Connors ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jerrod Nicholas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
