Spectators: 7715 (Terracing: 5828, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Charlton Maynard made the kick off which started today's match. Josh Irving fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dillon Esquivel having to interfere. After 5 minutes of play, FC Vilseck's Gilberto Glenn made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dillon Esquivel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute Charlton Maynard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wallace Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wallace Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bennett Ledford in the 17th minute. Josh Irving took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dillon Esquivel. Dillon Esquivel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Star FC's Dudley Summers got a free kick in the 30th minute. Gilberto Glenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dillon Esquivel having to interfere. If Gilberto Glenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilberto Glenn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dillon Esquivel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Josh Irving managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vilseck's supporters rose to their feet, but Josh Irving was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dillon Esquivel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes Star FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Josh Irving who took care of the corner kick. Josh Irving made a great header on FC Vilseck's corner, it was just that Star FC's Dillon Esquivel managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 46th minute, Josh Irving got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gilberto Glenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josh Irving was the one to do the kick off. FC Vilseck's Wallace Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vance Woodall in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Star FC booed when FC Vilseck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Glenn didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Star FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Oliver Stern hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Star FC's goal looked a bit too open when Josh Irving came free, but Dillon Esquivel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dillon Esquivel was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Gilberto Glenn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Glenn really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Star FC's goalkeeper Dillon Esquivel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josh Irving sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Star FC's Geoff Neal got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Rudolph Baxter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Star FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Vilseck were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
