In the 5th minute Arnold Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Pennington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calvin Horne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Schmitz having to interfere. If Boyce Boyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Kilgore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kasey Schmitz. SC DEIMA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Glenn Horton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Schmitz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Nelson Polk could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Tim Pennington however easily saved by the left post. Kasey Schmitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Seymour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Calvin Horne came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Walthourville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calvin Horne couldn't finish the play. Glenn Horton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Boyce Boyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenn Horton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Boyce Boyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boyce Boyle struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Kasey Schmitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walthourville. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Petersen to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Walthourville's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Polk came free, but Tim Pennington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasey Schmitz was a little too slow when Calvin Horne got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-1. A collision led to Walthourville getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Calvin Horne hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Frank Hoover put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of SC DEIMA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Walthourville:s goal. Kasey Schmitz had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Santiago Seymour's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Walthourville booed when SC DEIMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Petersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Walthourville fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Walthourville's Calvin Horne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Calvin Horne might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasey Schmitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calvin Horne ran back to his position shaking his head. Glenn Horton struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Kasey Schmitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walthourville. In the 75th minute, Kevin Stanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glenn Horton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Schmitz having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Walthourville got a freekick which was hit by Monte Corona. After having played for 93 minutes, Peter Garrett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC DEIMA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Garrett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tim Pennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jospeh Bautista in the 97th minute of play.
