After 11 minutes, Jospeh Bautista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC DEIMA and the Haleiwa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes SC DEIMA got a freekick which was hit by Jospeh Bautista. In the 16th match minute, SC DEIMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Jason Conroy came out and tried to block the shot, but Nelson Polk slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. After 43 played minutes Haleiwa got a freekick which was hit by Ervin Ventura.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Petersen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes SC DEIMA got a freekick which was hit by Tyrell Reese. Stefan Engel scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasey Schmitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jason Conroy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Polk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC DEIMA's Nelson Polk got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Kevin Stanton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC DEIMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haleiwa the free kick. A collision led to SC DEIMA getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kevin Stanton hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, SC DEIMA's goalkeeper Kasey Schmitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Engel. Keith Reyes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
