Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jude Powers kicked off to start the match. Gilberto German didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cherryvale's Jude Powers shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Gilberto German showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Rose, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Cherryvale's Jude Powers made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto German was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Cherryvale booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelona's zone, Jude Powers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto German came out of the goal and Jude Powers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daryl Rose struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gilberto German didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cherryvale. Peter Ramos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilberto German came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Ramos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Clint Crocker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jude Powers in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto German saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Dean Novak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cherryvale getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dean Novak hit a great ball. If Dean Novak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Dean Novak might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto German. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dean Novak ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Jude Powers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto German was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Jude Powers struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gilberto German didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cherryvale. Clint Crocker made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cherryvale's Dean Novak. Daryl Rose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Jude Powers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cherryvale's Reed Bateman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luther Bass in the 68th minute of play. Reed Bateman came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barcelona's Wayne Joseph. But to his dismay, Wayne Joseph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Saul Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Jude Powers put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gilberto German. Gilberto German came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Cherryvale's Jude Powers. But to his dismay, Jude Powers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 88th minute, Dean Novak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cherryvale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. The supporters of Cherryvale booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sol Muniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelona's zone, Jude Powers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto German came out of the goal and Jude Powers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jude Powers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cherryvale's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
