Terrell Whitmore let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 8th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Wilfred Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffrey Karros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Smithtown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl McNeal to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Nathanial Goff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Great Lakes FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Terrell Whitmore hit a great ball. Sylvester Kemp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Wilfred Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jeffrey Karros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Jeffrey Karros notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Great Lakes FC's Wilfred Rosado. Wilfred Rosado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Doug Bragg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jeffrey Karros struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Wilfred Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smithtown FC. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Great Lakes FC's goalkeeper Wilfred Rosado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeffrey Karros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfred Rosado having to interfere. Doug Bragg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
