The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, ALBEAGLES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Jackson came free, but Darrel Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leif Street fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALBEAGLES FC's protests and gave Leif Street a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ravenswood FC booed when ALBEAGLES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Street didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Reid, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 10th minute, Dave Ledbetter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALBEAGLES FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mckinley Hoyt was a little too slow when Nelson Pineda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, ALBEAGLES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eldon Medley came free, but Darrel Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Pineda in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mckinley Hoyt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mckinley Hoyt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nelson Pineda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Abdul Jackson's late challenge caught a ALBEAGLES FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdul Jackson helped the player get up and apologised. Abdul Jackson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mckinley Hoyt made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nelson Pineda sent off a good shot on target. Mckinley Hoyt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Pineda in the 38th minute of the match. Nelson Pineda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxwell Street's late challenge caught a Ravenswood FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxwell Street helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, ALBEAGLES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxwell Street to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Nelson Pineda made the kick off in the second half. Frankie Elmore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mckinley Hoyt having to make a save. After 53 minutes of play, ALBEAGLES FC's Dave Ledbetter made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mckinley Hoyt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nelson Pineda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelson Pineda in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mckinley Hoyt saved Ravenswood FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Ravenswood FC's zone, Nelson Pineda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mckinley Hoyt came out of the goal and Nelson Pineda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rich Dias hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Ledbetter in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mckinley Hoyt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dave Ledbetter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Darrel Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eldon Medley in the 73rd minute of the match. Dave Ledbetter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Dave Ledbetter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Dave Ledbetter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mckinley Hoyt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ALBEAGLES FC booed when Ravenswood FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Forrest Wesley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Russell kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Dave Ledbetter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ALBEAGLES FC's Nelson Pineda got a free kick in the 94th minute. Abdul Jackson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrel Chan having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ALBEAGLES FC fully deserved thier win.
