Garry Dyer charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garry Dyer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, South Holland's Garry Dyer got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ervin Patrick took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Randy Trent. Randy Trent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of South Holland booed when Burien AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Dobbins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie Westbrook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Leonardo Katz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Ervin Patrick made a precise shot to the right of Randy Trent. South Holland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Randy Trent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufus Meyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. John Gentry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Burien AFC's Leonardo Katz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Westbrook in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ervin Patrick was the one to do the kick off. Leonardo Katz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Gentry in the 52nd minute of play. Garry Dyer got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 65th minute of the match Cason Egan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Randy Trent showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rufus Meyer got free with Randy Trent in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Randy Trent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ervin Patrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of South Holland booed when Burien AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Seals didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, South Holland's Parker Emery tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rufus Meyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Randy Trent made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ervin Patrick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Randy Trent was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Rufus Meyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. South Holland's Randy Trent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ervin Patrick in the 86th minute of play. Burien AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
