Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) Glen Rock AFC's Kenny Pierce started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Walton Roche was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. Oliver Littlejohn struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Angelo Roark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Laphroaig. Oliver Littlejohn took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Roark. Angelo Roark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lincoln Temple kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Alberto Sheldon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelo Roark. Glen Rock AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Kenny Pierce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Marlon Fulton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glen Rock AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marlon Fulton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marlon Fulton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th match minute, F.C. Laphroaig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamal Dupre to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenny Pierce in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lazaro Groves saved F.C. Laphroaig from getting behind. Marlon Fulton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazaro Groves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marlon Fulton in the 40th minute. Marlon Fulton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lazaro Groves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C. Laphroaig's Lazaro Groves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Pierce in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliver Littlejohn to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Dale Hoskins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaro Groves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Laphroaig's goalkeeper Lazaro Groves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kenny Pierce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jamal Dupre hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Ross Weiss sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C. Laphroaig's Lazaro Groves didn't even have to move. 66 minutes into the game, Glen Rock AFC's Kenny Pierce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lazaro Groves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 76th minute of the match Ross Weiss shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lazaro Groves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lazaro Groves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Pierce, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Glen Rock AFC's Kenny Pierce in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Laphroaig's goalie prevented a goal. If Marlon Fulton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clayton Grayson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Glen Rock AFC had won after a very even match.
