The tension between the Burien AFC and the Cimarrones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ervin Patrick hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute John Stein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Katz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitchell Thornton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Julio Marsh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Burien AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nicholas Guy hit a great ball. Mitchell Thornton scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Katz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duke Atwood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rufus Meyer in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Burien AFC's Elias Dobbins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Duke Atwood. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. Burien AFC's Ervin Patrick got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Ervin Patrick off the ground. After a rather tough play, Burien AFC's Ervin Patrick got a free kick in the 35th minute. Leonardo Katz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Stein in the 43rd minute of play. If Thomas Ng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rufus Meyer made a kick off. Duke Atwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufus Meyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Burien AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nicholas Guy hit a great ball. Kristopher Lockett kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, John Stein reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Katz. The goal made the score 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Burien AFC's zone, Mitchell Thornton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Katz came out of the goal and Mitchell Thornton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Burien AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mitchell Thornton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. John Stein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Katz having to interfere. Leonardo Katz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Ng in the 89th minute of the match. Rufus Meyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duke Atwood having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Cimarrones FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Ng. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cimarrones FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
