Angelo Roark stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billy Dale's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Dustin Connolly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Roark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Billy Dale fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dallas Cowboys's Damon Holley suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marlon Fulton during the 18th minute. When Dustin Connolly came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Dallas Cowboys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dustin Connolly couldn't finish the play. Billy Dale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Roark having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Dale in the 42nd minute of play forced Glen Rock AFC's goalkeeper Angelo Roark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dallas Cowboys's zone, Marlon Fulton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Langford came out of the goal and Marlon Fulton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kenny Pierce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dustin Connolly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Roark having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Dallas Cowboys's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Pierce came free, but Bob Langford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Dallas Cowboys got a freekick which was hit by Stacey Shaver. Francis Redmond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Roark having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Glen Rock AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Dale came free, but Angelo Roark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Roark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Dale, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dallas Cowboys's Reinaldo Goldberg got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Billy Dale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dallas Cowboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Billy Dale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Billy Dale took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Roark. Angelo Roark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Bob Langford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marlon Fulton in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Dallas Cowboys's Stacey Shaver got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Glen Rock AFC's Angelo Roark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Dale in the 95th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Glen Rock AFC's Bob Langford threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dale Hoskins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dallas Cowboys's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
