Leonardo Katz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Burrell in the 26th minute of the match. With his leg Reuben Schmidt managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Burien AFC's Rufus Meyer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brady Knox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Katz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Leonardo Katz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brady Knox, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Emanuel Gilbert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Katz. The referee showed Bennett Murphy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bennett Murphy kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Burien AFC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Montgomery City AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norbert Cameron took the corner. Norbert Cameron made a great header on Burien AFC's corner, it was just that Montgomery City AFC's Reuben Schmidt managed to reach the ball for a save. Cesar Seals received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Reuben Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ervin Patrick to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute Ervin Patrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reuben Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rufus Meyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bennett Murphy hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Rufus Meyer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burien AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 72 played minutes Montgomery City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Lopez. Reuben Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufus Meyer in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Cesar Seals shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reuben Schmidt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Reuben Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rufus Meyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Brady Knox managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montgomery City AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brady Knox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Katz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ervin Patrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Reuben Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ervin Patrick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Burien AFC had won after a very even match.
