When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nigel Trimble made a kick off. Ricardo McConnell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Art Powell went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jacques Reaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo McConnell having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Nigel Trimble shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mel Sloan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes in the game, Nigel Trimble fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mel Sloan having to interfere. Art Powell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ricardo McConnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rancheros de Dallas's Grady Staley got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Art Powell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Art Powell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo McConnell having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pink Boys had won after a very even match.
