Mel Sloan was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Crystal Falls FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Austin Swenson hit a great ball. Mel Sloan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathon Root in the 12th minute of play. Pink Boys's Mel Sloan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Swenson in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Pink Boys booed when Crystal Falls FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keith Ashley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Felder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Holley, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mel Sloan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Swenson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pink Boys's goalkeeper Mel Sloan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Pink Boys got a freekick which was hit by Erik Holley. J.P. Barnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mel Sloan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnathon Root sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes, Avery English mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crystal Falls FC and the Pink Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Crystal Falls FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avery English to maneuver through the defense. Crystal Falls FC's Rigoberto Felder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Crystal Falls FC from getting a goal against them. Avery English fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mel Sloan having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Jeramy Muniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mel Sloan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers J.P. Barnes in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mel Sloan saved Pink Boys from getting behind.

The wind increased when Johnathon Root made the kick off in the second half. When J.P. Barnes came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Crystal Falls FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that J.P. Barnes couldn't finish the play. Austin Swenson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mel Sloan having to make a save. 58 minutes into the game, Vito Cabrera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pink Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crystal Falls FC the free kick. Vito Cabrera hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pink Boys's goalkeeper Mel Sloan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Johnathon Root left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crystal Falls FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Austin Swenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mel Sloan having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Crystal Falls FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeramy Muniz. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Art Powell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pink Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Art Powell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Felder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Jeramy Muniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pink Boys's Vito Cabrera got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Vito Cabrera off the ground. In the 75th minute, Austin Swenson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If J.P. Barnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crystal Falls FC's DeAngelo Paris got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathon Root in the 87th minute of play forced Pink Boys's goalkeeper Mel Sloan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pink Boys's Mel Sloan got control of the ball when Jeramy Muniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Avery English sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeramy Muniz struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Mel Sloan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crystal Falls FC. Johnathon Root could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Mel Sloan made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Crystal Falls FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pink Boys.
