Ricardo McConnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Petty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Dana Deaton made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo McConnell. Rancheros de Dallas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 8 played minutes Iron Maiden FC got a freekick which was hit by Preston Rowland. Dana Deaton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo McConnell having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Eddy Petty rounded Rancheros de Dallas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Marcellus Felton might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo McConnell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcellus Felton ran back to his position shaking his head. If Marcellus Felton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The long shot by Corey Wyatt in the 28th minute really tested Ricardo McConnell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Preston Rowland came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Iron Maiden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Preston Rowland couldn't finish the play. Ricardo McConnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Preston Rowland, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Frankie Eubanks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ricardo McConnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo McConnell made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Marcellus Felton sent off a good shot on target. Iron Maiden FC's Dana Deaton got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51st play minutes Preston Rowland shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Ricardo McConnell and just under the crossbar into goal. Iron Maiden FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dana Deaton in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dana Deaton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ricardo McConnell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcellus Felton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ricardo McConnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo McConnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcellus Felton in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Preston Rowland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iron Maiden FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Preston Rowland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Dana Deaton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Iron Maiden FC's Preston Rowland in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rancheros de Dallas's goalie prevented a goal. When Kasey Proctor fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rancheros de Dallas's protests and gave Kasey Proctor a yellow card for diving instead. Kasey Proctor kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Preston Rowland made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo McConnell. Rancheros de Dallas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Corey Wyatt hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Rancheros de Dallas defense, Preston Rowland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo McConnell. The Rancheros de Dallas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo McConnell should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Eddy Petty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Preston Rowland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcellus Felton in the 96th minute of play forced Rancheros de Dallas's goalkeeper Ricardo McConnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
