Robbie Jimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eldon Russell kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Adalberto Rice's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeramy Goode was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The supporters of Barcelona USA booed when Annapolis United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Fairchild didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barcelona USA's Lenny Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dana Marcus in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Annapolis United FC's Jeramy Goode got control of the ball when Adalberto Rice tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barcelona USA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
