Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmed Hedrick started the match with the kick off. Devon Little received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jarod Pennington came out and tried to block the shot, but Devon Little slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Blake Koch hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Victor Stahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Hedrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Hedrick took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Stahl. Victor Stahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 16 minutes, Palmer Croft mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Rapid and the Crosby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute of the match Crosby FC got a corner. F.C. Rapid's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmed Hedrick ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ahmed Hedrick almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C. Rapid's Victor Stahl did a great save. After 23 minutes of play, Crosby FC's Aidan Pritchard made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Stahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, David Hand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crosby FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Crosby FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Crosby FC's Dan Platt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonah Otero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. Victor Stahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aidan Pritchard's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When Marco Messer came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Crosby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Messer couldn't finish the play. Aidan Pritchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Victor Stahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Messer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willy Bower to strike the kick off in the second half. Lawrence Vazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Crosby FC's Ahmed Hedrick dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. If Ahmed Hedrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. Rapid's Victor Stahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Rapid from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes Crosby FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Hedrick. When Aidan Pritchard came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Crosby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aidan Pritchard couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Hedrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Stahl having to interfere. The supporters of F.C. Rapid booed when Crosby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Hedrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Ahmed Hedrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Stahl made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Aidan Pritchard sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Lawrence Vazquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crosby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lawrence Vazquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Stahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmed Hedrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Lamar Dunlap got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Victor Stahl was a little too slow when Ahmed Hedrick got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-7. Crosby FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
