Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ulysses Rosen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bennington's Clark Burrows got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Bennington's Boyd Strange sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Stahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Devin Lawrence got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victor Stahl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 17 played minutes, Bennington's Devin Lawrence shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victor Stahl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bennington reached it. 18 minutes into the game, Bennington's Boyd Strange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Stahl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luke Myles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, F.C. Rapid's D.J. Bartlett got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyd Strange in the 33rd minute of play forced F.C. Rapid's goalkeeper Victor Stahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Stahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Strange in the 36th minute of play. Bennington's Ross Aragon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Bennington from getting a goal against them. Boyd Strange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clark Burrows charged in rather forcefully in the 49th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clark Burrows the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willy Bower to strike the kick off in the second half. Victor Stahl was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Ulysses Rosen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ulysses Rosen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After a rather tough play, F.C. Rapid's Devon Lovell got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of F.C. Rapid booed when Bennington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Strange didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Boyd Strange came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Bennington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boyd Strange couldn't finish the play. If Luke Myles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luke Myles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ross Aragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bennington's Ulysses Rosen in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Rapid's goalie prevented a goal. F.C. Rapid's Victor Stahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Rapid from getting a goal against them. If Ulysses Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Boyd Strange got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulysses Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. Rapid's Victor Stahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Rosen in the 86th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Blake Koch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Rapid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bennington the free kick. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Bennington's Devin Lawrence got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Victor Stahl. In the 98th minute Ulysses Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Stahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luke Myles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bennington's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
