The tension between the Crosby FC and the Arsenal players grew even worse after the yellow card. 12 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Platt came free, but Darrell Worthington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Greg Browning dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarod Pennington, 1-1. Arsenal's Darrell Worthington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Hedrick in the 25th minute of play. Darrell Worthington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Hedrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Tyrell Kerns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarod Pennington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Platt struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Darrell Worthington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crosby FC. In the 36th minute Ahmed Hedrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrell Worthington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Jarod Pennington successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Crosby FC's Marco Messer suffered a concussion in the 42nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Arsenal's Rudy Montoya got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Ahmed Hedrick shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darrell Worthington showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tyrell Kerns to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tyrell Kerns came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Arsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyrell Kerns couldn't finish the play. Darrell Worthington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Hedrick in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Crosby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brice Poole to maneuver through the defense. Jarod Pennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg Browning in the 62nd minute of the match. Crosby FC's Jarod Pennington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrell Kerns in the 65th minute of play. Arsenal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Ahmed Hedrick scored to the left of an out of position Darrell Worthington, making the score, 1-5. 71 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goalkeeper Darrell Worthington had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aidan Pritchard. 73 minutes into the game, Ahmed Hedrick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Darrell Worthington was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Crosby FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
