Storr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Jarvis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monte Fujieda got free with Alistair Acuna in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Swan Song FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Baldwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Baldwin made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Jeremiah Ledbetter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Swan Song FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cincinnati Strikers the free kick. Jeremiah Ledbetter hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Storr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Swan Song FC's D.J. Storr proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Swan Song FC from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd play minute Fletcher Jarvis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised D.J. Storr. 1-1. Swan Song FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
