Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Newman's Terry Canales started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Aidan Pritchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Houston Mosley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes Newman got a freekick which was hit by Houston Mosley. With his leg Nathanial Carlson managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Crosby FC's Dan Platt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dan Platt succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 21st playminute. Nathanial Carlson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aidan Pritchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Hedrick in the 30th minute of play forced Newman's goalkeeper Nathanial Carlson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aidan Pritchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmed Hedrick got free with Nathanial Carlson in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Newman getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Houston Mosley hit a great ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newman's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmed Hedrick was slow to take the kick. During this time Crosby FC's players had a chance to rest. Aidan Pritchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanial Carlson having to interfere. When Aidan Pritchard came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Crosby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aidan Pritchard couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmed Hedrick to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Dan Platt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crosby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Platt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathanial Carlson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Crosby FC's Marco Messer in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newman's goalie prevented a goal. Houston Mosley kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Crosby FC's Lawrence Vazquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nathanial Carlson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Crosby FC's Aidan Pritchard got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jarod McGill during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Crosby FC booed when Newman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarod McGill didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Crosby FC's Aidan Pritchard got a free kick in the 70th minute. Houston Mosley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jarod Pennington. Crosby FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aidan Pritchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathanial Carlson was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Nathanial Carlson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Platt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Crosby FC's Jarod Pennington got control of the ball when Chuck Morton tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Dan Platt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nathanial Carlson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Crosby FC's Aidan Pritchard got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Platt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanial Carlson having to interfere. Ahmed Hedrick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Messer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nathanial Carlson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Newman's Nathanial Carlson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Platt in the 93rd minute of play. Lamar Dunlap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Hedrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
